Home Support Worker
A HSW is someone you can have to help you in your own home. You could have a HSW to help you with: communication, making phone calls on your behalf, shopping and basic simple housework, small amounts of ironing, small amounts of gardening, driving, going out to do something. For example: the gym, swimming, visiting places and walking), looking after a disabled child to free up your time to do housework or to have a break, or many more tasks.
